today during youth, ps ashley was talking about cult and occult.it's actaully quite meaningful, at least it gives us some knowledge about wad they are.
adult service was next.did lcd wit denise.for e whole period of e service i was thinking about alot of things.i din sing, i din talk.all i did was think.i was thinking about many things, worrying alot.my mood changed from happy to sad.
there's a pt of time where i wanted to pour out to God.when suddenly ps chee kiong shared tis,
Happiness is not joy
Happiness is shallow, dictated by circumstances
Joy is deep, not dictated by circumstances
Worry causes us to shirt out focus away from God.
Instead of setting our gaze on God, we fix our eyes on the circumstances.
God becomes the furthest thing away from us.
Don't wait for our faith to be tested before we search and seek the Lord.
Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow
It empties today of its strength
God is our anchor in times of trials, so that we can walk through life's darkess valleys with joy
in Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace that transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
