Day 4
breakfast at hemitage.as we ate we watched e sun rise up,it was behind e mountains! so its like mount cook with orange blue white background.lovely :D
went for a 2 and a half hour walk at hooker valley.its suppose to be a 4 hr walk but coz dad drove up, only 2 1/2 hrs ! but thank god he drove up.the walk is sooo long and it wasnt any easy walk,the paper said " hooker valley, a walk with easy paths...." wad rubbish.we had to climb up rocks,walk on pebbles,damp soil and ice ( the floor was frozen,i'll show u someday) and even bridges connecting one mountain to another mountain.there were like ice everywhere on the floor but of coz not the whole pathway.the weather was extremely cold but the sun was shining on us, so can u imagine the feeling of cold and hot at the same time?oh oh the bridges, omg its so high up and scary and u only can walk one by one not 2 by 2.and beneath the bridge are stones and u can hear the sound of water splashing on e rocks.all of us were so freaked out,each step u take the bridge sways left right left right.but great experience
at night we went for a 15min 3D movie about mount cook.and when sun sets,we went for " star gazing".its the best view ive ever seen seriously.the whole place was pitched dark but e moment u look up into the sky, my gosh, 10 over thousands of stars ! usually u'll see 1 or 2 in singapore. but here ! e whole sky is filled with stars!we got to look thru e telescope to view closely at e stars and i got to see Jupiter and Saturn.Jupiter looks like full moon. and Saturn, i even saw the rings ard e planet.dam cool ! its freezing , huge gushes of wind blowing . current temp: 9.6 degrees i think it went down
Day 5
left hemitage and on our way, 4 hrs plus drive to Dunedin.well known as the steepest streets in the world. really steep.their up is dam up, gg down is so down.u hv no idea why, i think becoz their in on e mountains ? beats me
there was a van who came to pick us up from e motel as we headed to see sheeps,sealions,seals,chicks,birds and penguins up close.how close? really really close.but its so tiring, we had to walk on sheeps shits coz we went into their grass home.haha so we walked down the hill to see seals!one of e seal came really really close to us like wanting to attract our attention, and when i saw it, i thought of fluffy!haha the face looks so much like fluffy! so cute. after admiring a while, we walked down again to the beach to see sealions! their huge man! we were like 2m away from sealions, its that close and they were making a whole lot of noise! seriously u must come here its so so so fun. just tt u gotta bare with the cold :D
shopped ard the streets, bought lots of things to bring home to share! (:
Day 6 which is today
out of Dunedin and another 4 hrs plus drive down to Queenstown.
tis town, is the coldest we've been to.and we saw snow ! for the first time man!dad was driving along e road and everywhere was filled/covered with snow!but there wasnt any snow coming down on us. nat says it feels like ice kachang.on our way to Queenstown, we came across alot of fruit farms. and we stopped by at one of e stall, there was no staff, no one. but there were lots of fruits and prices. so we realise, this place you buy sth, u pay at tis little box on the counter, its like u can even walk away without paying ! but nah, we paid ! seriously buying sth and paying it everything on ur own without staffs looking at u. how much cooler can NZ be! this country just gets better and better huh :D oh the fruits are soo sweet mom's thinking of driving back to buy more. hahaha
we reached sherwood hotel and immediately drove down to have jet ride.dad saw in e brochure saying its e best jetboat ride in the world.omg really its so fun. the weather was freezing, and e boats gg soooo fast ! and it turns 360 degrees! so fun ! in the mids of e ride there was hail (ice rocks),and we were gg soo freaking fast, our face felt like its gonna bleed, coz when e ice hit us, its like someone's poking u with a needle. madnesss man, but the ride wasss realllyyy cooollll ! just when it ended , it started snowing ! haha perfect timing :D
tmr we'll be gg on some cruise i think. i cant wait to shop ! the things here are soo nice u wanna buy the whole shelf. okay, i gotta go sleep, im 4 hours ahead of u guys! cant help it.hah hv fun !
